Winter Festival
Held annually in January as a fundraiser for local charities, events consist of dog sled rides, ice carving demonstrations, cross country ski and snow shoe demos, bonfires and a fishing derby to name but a few.
Children’s Festival
The Children’s festival is an annual event raising money for the Make-a wish Foundation of Maine. Each year we ask a local children’s book author to come read to us and talk about their book. We also have other events and activities that change from year to year according to the theme of the event. Hope Triathlon
Please click here to download an application for the 2008 Triathlon. The event will be taking place on the 12th of July. There is a map below showing the route of the course. The road section is fairly uneven and bumpy due to frost heave this year so please be prepared to go slower than you might like to at times for safety’s sake!

1st Annual Hatchet Mt Scramble
A benefit for the Coastal Mountains Land Trust
September Saturday 20th 2008.
The race starts at the Hope General Store and is 2 miles up hill, the first mile is on the road and the second is trail running up a very steep section of cutbacks to the top of Hatchet Mountain. The trail is rocky and steep, get ready to feel the burn!!
